About the Author
I am Jamshed Khusro Romani, the voice behind the narratives in this book, and I proudly share my homeland of India with you. I was born on March 8th 1954, in the heartland of Bhopal, MP. I grew up in a bustling household filled with the love and laughter of seven brothers and three sisters. Our parents gave us invaluable wisdom that continues to guide us through life.
As I matured, I discovered my passion for a career, and with my father’s support, I pursued higher education. After graduating from college, I went to Bombay to study Refrigeration and Air-conditioning. However, the allure of America, the land of boundless opportunities, continued to beckon me, a dream my father himself cherished.
The decision to move to America was fueled by the belief that it was a land of freedom. America is known for where the birthplace of technology and inventions started and has always been a magnet for talented individuals worldwide, including myself. This is precisely why people from diverse nationalities, like myself, embark on the journey to America.
Looking back, I am grateful for the opportunities and success that America has bestowed upon me and my family. Despite the challenges, we have found a better life in America compared to India.
Indeed, America remains the land of opportunity and success, all my brothers and sisters who came to the US as Immigrants became US citizens and are successful in their careers. In this place dreams can take shape and become a reality for those who strive to make them come true. As the author of this book, I humbly share my stories and experiences, weaving together the threads of Indian heritage and American dreams.
